Although it is located just 73 kilometers away from Port Blair, it often remains overlooked by travelers. However, it is ideal for people who love calmness, quiet places, and space to be alone. You can find various attractive and appealing towns here, like Rangat, Mayabunder, Bakultala, Nimbutala, and Kadamtala. However, the most common beach is Rangat, as it has eye-opening views and cool air to take you to another dimension of life. Further, impeccable attractions include Dhaninallah Mangrove Nature Walk, Yerrata Mangrove Park, and Yerrata Creek. Another popular spot to explore is Mayabunder which hosts mesmerizing mangrove-lined tidal creeks. You can also get sun-soaked at Avis Island and enjoy turtles living their life at Karamatang Beach, located just 13 kilometers away. RADHANAGAR BEACH

Radhanagar Beach lies on the south coast of Swaraj Dweep (Havelock Island). It is about 12 kilometers from the island's ferry pier. Radhanagar is a Grade A beach of outstanding quality. This beach is also rated as one of the best beaches in Asia by TIME Magazine. It has an overall length of two kilometers and an average width of 30 to 40 meters. The sand is white and very fine in grain. The beach has a gentle gradient of around 1:20 and continues out into the sea as a sandy bottom for over 100 meters.

VIJAY NAGAR BEACH

Vijay Nagar Beach in Havelock is a long stretch of sand on the east coast of the island, occasionally dotted by sections of rock. Most of the beach is lined by Mahua trees, whose trunks grow spacing along the ground for many feet before they begin to climb vertically. These trees have lent a distinct character to the seafront and provide shade, close to the water. Vijay Nagar Beach is perfect for long walks along the sea.
